Are Zapier Academy courses free?
Yes\. Every course is free with a Zapier account, and a free Zapier account is enough\.
Do I need a Zapier account?
You sign in with your Zapier account so your progress is saved and your certificate carries your name\. If you do not have one, create a free account at zapier\.com and come back; the course picks up where you left off\.
Do I need to know Zapier already?
No\. 01 Chat is about AI, not Zapier\. Zapier enters at 02 Delegate, and the courses explain each piece as you meet it\. In Zapier a workflow is called a Zap; you will hear both words\.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes\. When you finish a course, you get a certificate of completion, with a link to add it straight to your LinkedIn profile\.
Do I have to take the stages in order?
No, but the four stages are built to follow each other\. 01 Chat gets real work out of AI chat\. 02 Delegate connects that AI to your apps with Zapier MCP\. 03 Automate turns the task you keep asking for into a Zap that runs on its own\. 04 Engineer takes you from personal automations to systems a team relies on\. Each course page says who it is for and where to start if it is not you, so jump in wherever your work already is\.
I already use AI every day\. Where should I start?
If you get finished work out of AI chat but still copy context in and paste results out by hand, start at 02 Delegate\. If you already connect AI to your apps, start at 03 Automate\. If you have built and run Zaps and want them to hold up for a team, start at 04 Engineer\. 01 Chat is a fast refresh if you want one\.
What if I stop halfway?
Nothing is lost\. Your progress is saved to your account, and you can come back to any lesson or rewatch any video whenever you like\.
How do I give feedback?
Yes please to feedback\! Every course ends with a short survey, and we read all of it\. Reviewers' notes have already changed lessons in these courses\.
