You're about to put AI to work for you\. Not just answering your questions, but doing real work, and eventually running it without you\. This is the path from chatting with AI to building systems that scale\. Here's the whole map, so you always know where you are\.

Most people meet AI in a chat window\. Stage one, Chat, is where this course lives: turning AI conversations into finished work\. Take one example we'll follow through the map: a frustrated customer writes in\. You paste the email into the chat, add the context that matters, and get back a reply you'd actually send\.

AI chat is incredibly powerful, but it's just the beginning\. Stage two, Delegate, is where you let AI take action in your apps\. You give AI access to your apps and your context\. So instead of copying and pasting the same things in and out of a chat, AI goes into your helpdesk, reads the customer's account, then goes into your email and drafts the reply\. It works inside the tools you already use\.

Stage three, Automate, is where you put repetitive work on autopilot, so the work that repeats stops needing you at all\. You describe the job once, hand it to Zapier, and it runs on its own\. Now every new ticket gets sorted and a reply drafted the moment it arrives, whether you're at your desk or not\. You step in only when a reply needs a human touch\.

Stage four, Engineer, is where you build AI systems that work reliably at scale, going from personal automations to the systems that run a whole team, or company\. In our example, the entire support queue now runs through a system you designed: AI handles the routine, people handle the hard cases, and you can show exactly what it saves\. This is the jump from super productive to ready for a promotion\.

You don't have to do all of it\. Plenty of people stop at Chat and get hours back every week\. And if you're already an AI chat master, you can jump ahead\.

But if you stick with this, you'll turn AI conversations into finished work, let AI take action in your apps, put repetitive work on autopilot, and maybe even build the systems your team runs on\. That's the arc\.
